Admission to Degree Programs

Although you may take a full course load (up to 21 undergraduate credits or 16 graduate credits) during the summer without being admitted, during the other terms you may not enroll in more than 8 credits without being admitted. If you are interested in working toward a degree at Portland State University, wish to apply for financial aid, or if you plan to enroll in 9 credits or more fall term, you should apply for admission to the University. Please refer to the Portland State University Bulletin for appropriate deadlines. Applications for admission are available; come in or write:
