  • waterfall "You always wanted to go to Germany?"
“It’s easier than you think! – The only thing you need is: one or two years of German.”

The YEAR-LONG ACADEMIC EXCHANGE PROGRAM is sponsored and administered by the Oregon University System (OUS) International Programs Office at Oregon State University in Corvallis in conjunction with the member institutions of OUS.

Southwestern Germany’s “Schwabenland”, the state of BADEN-WÜRTTEMBERG, is the scenic region where you can choose one of nine universities – like Stuttgart, Freiburg, Tübingen, Heidelberg, Konstanz, Hohenheim, Mannheim, Karlsruhe or Ulm - for your studies abroad. Baden-Württemberg is as picturesque as travel posters boast: heavily forested mountains capped by castles, towns with narrow streets and gabled rooftops, valleys cut by the Neckar River but also one of the most productive regions in industry and commerce, the home of famous cars like MERCEDES and PORSCHE. It’s capital STUTTGART, called Stuggitown, is the center of German HIP HOP MUSIC.

You’ll begin your stay in Germany in early September with a four-week orientation at the University of Tübingen before you move to your destination campus. You will spent two semesters there and you will finish the program the following year at the end of the summer semester Mid to End of July.
