• Students and most faculty members reside in Lewis and Clark College student housing. To encourage interaction in German, most rooms are doubles. Three meals are provided daily. Students and faculty dine together in an area reserved for the Deutsche Sommerschule.

Campus

• The Deutsche Sommerschule is located on the campus of Lewis and Clark College, just a few miles from downtown Portland. The campus is nestled in 125 acres of woodlands in the hills of Portland, overlooking the city, the Willamette River, and Mt. Hood to the east.
