Deutsche Sommerschule am Pazifik Baden-Württemberg Scholarship
Each year, the state of Baden-Württemberg offers a student at the Deutsche Sommerschule am Pazifik a full scholarship to study in Germany. The award covers all tuition costs and most fees, and it includes a monthly living stipend equivalent to the amount received by German students (for 10 months). The award does not include transportation costs. The scholarship is for one academic year starting in September, and the student has twelve months to prepare for the year abroad. The award may be used at any of the institutions of higher learning in Baden-Württemberg. The student is invited to participate in the existing Oregon State System of Higher Education (OSSHE) Baden-Württemberg Exchange Program, which has direct access to university positions. The International Exchange Coordinator at Portland State University can advise to a course of action. Selection for the award is made regardless of present academic standing. Students need not be enrolled in a degree program at the present time nor at the time of the award.
- Only a
specified number of students can be admitted; therefore, your application
for admission should be made as soon as possible. Acceptance is first
come, first served. Space is limited: early application is recommended.
